Vaccinations protect you against infectious diseases that are prevalent in Mexico. Make an appointment for personalised travel advice at vaccinatiecentrum.nl.
The following vaccinations are recommended when travelling to Mexico:
DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio), Dengue, Hepatitis A (infectious jaundice), Hepatitis B, Rabies and Yellow fever.

Yellow fever
Yellow fever does not occur in Mexico but a vaccination is mandatory if you are travelling in from a high-risk area or have been in transit in such an area for more than 12 hours.
Malaria
Malaria is prevalent in Mexico. If you are staying in an area where malaria is prevalent, we sometimes recommend the use of malaria medication. Furthermore, it is important to take protective measures against malaria.
