The following vaccinations are recommended when travelling to Belize:
DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio), Hepatitis A (infectious jaundice), Hepatitis B, Rabies, Dengue.

Some of these vaccinations are always advised, regardless of the length of your stay in Belize. These are DTP and Hepatitis A. The other vaccination recommendations depend on your health situation, living conditions, length of stay, the areas you visit and the activities you undertake in Belize.

Yellow Fever
Yellow fever does not occur in Belize but a vaccination is mandatory if you are travelling in from a high-risk country.

Malaria
Malaria is prevalent in Belize. If you are staying in an area where malaria is prevalent, we sometimes recommend the use of malaria medication. Furthermore, it is important to take protective measures against malaria.
