Testing for a trip abroad
Some destinations require you to be tested for corona before departure. The country you are travelling to determines which test is required and how long the test result is valid. Before departure, make sure you are well informed about the rules and (possible) testing requirements of the country you are travelling to. These requirements can be different for each country and can also change unexpectedly. When making an appointment, you are responsible for choosing the right time to take the test. Depending on the requirements of the country you are travelling to, you can make an appointment for a PCR or antigen test (rapid test) at vaccinatiecentrum.nl.
For the current test requirements of the country you are travelling to check the website of the Dutch government: https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/reisadvies
You can also be tested with us if you are travelling to China. For the current test requirements, please check the website of the Chinese embassy in the Netherlands: http://nl.china-embassy.gov.cn/eng/
ANTIGEN-TEST
€ 34,25
Test result: 30 minutes
For certain destinations, an antigen test, also called a rapid test, is sufficient. For this test, a sample is taken from the throat and nose. Our specialised traveller nurses can then analyse this test themselves. Because of this, the test result is known in about 30 minutes. The antigen tests we use are internationally developed and approved for use in Europe by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety. The (English) test certificate is often only valid for a limited time, depending on your destination. When making the appointment, pay close attention to this validity period so that it does not cause any problems while travelling. Choosing the right test date and time is your own responsibility. You can make an appointment for an antigen test by phone. You can call us on business days between 09:00 and 16:00: 085 902 03 03.
Certificate of recovery/ Doctor’s certificate
€ 34,25
If you have recently been infected with the corona virus, you can, in some cases, also travel with a certificate of recovery. Proof of recovery from the European corona check app may not always be accepted. In that case, you can make an appointment for a certificate of recovery signed by our physician. Before making an appointment, check whether a certificate of recovery is accepted in the country you will be travelling to. For issuing a certificate of recovery, you must be able to meet the following requirements: Your positive corona test is a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 180 days ago. You can show proof of a positive corona PCR or rapid test. We only issue a certificate of recovery based on proof of testing at the GGD or a test certificate from another testing facility. A self-test is not sufficient. You have had no symptoms for at least 24 hours after your corona infection. You can make an appointment for a certificate of recovery by phone. You can call us on business days between 09:00 and 16:00: 085 902 03 03.
Antibody test
€ 55,00
Test result: under 48 hours
With the antibody test, we can see whether there are antibodies against the corona virus in your blood. This can be done, for example, after a vaccination but also after you have been infected with the corona virus. During the appointment, a blood sample is taken by our nurse. This blood sample goes to the laboratory of the Gelre hospital in Apeldoorn. Here, the blood is examined after which you will receive the results from us. You can make an appointment for an antibody test by phone. You can call us on business days between 09:00 and 16:00: 085 902 03 03.
